I willingly participate in all aspects of the Rec Centre at my own risk. Any medical condition specified above has been assessed by a medical professional and clearance for exercise has been given. I have read and agreed to comply with all the terms and conditions set down by the Rec Centre.

Terms and Conditions
for the users of the Rec Centre
I understand and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions of the Rec Centre
- We have a 'No Towel - No Workout' policy. For reasons of hygiene towels must be used at all times during your workout. Every individual must have their own towel
- Please wipe your sweat off all equipment after use as it is unhygienic and corrosive (wipes are available for this purpose throughout the Centre).
- Membership card / entry fee must be presented upon entry to the centre by all users.
- Members are responsible for their cards. There is a replacement cost if lost. Fraudulent or misuse of membership cards will result in an immediate ban from the Centre for a minimum period of 2 weeks.
- No current student ID, no student rates. ID must also be provided for uni staff, Alumni and corporate's.
- Required footwear is a clean, closed sports shoe. Non marking footwear to be worn in Sports Hall and squash court areas.
- Put away free weights and other equipment after use in all exercise areas. No food to be consumed in exercise areas.
- All bags are to be placed in lockers, padlocks are available at reception. Please note, contents will be removed from lockers if left overnight. Personal belongings are the owner's responsibility while in the Centre, however we recommend that you leave your valuables at home.
- The Rec Centre operates a 'No Refund Policy'.
- Transfer and suspension of memberships can only be authorised by management on application. NB/ Please be aware we do not transfer or suspend memberships sold at a reduced rate.
- TB4J - Try Before You Join - is available for first time members only.
- 10 visit concessions commence from date of purchase and expire within 10 weeks.
- Off Peak restrictions are lifted on in the first week of exams and come back into force in the first week of teaching in 'A' and 'B' semester.
- No adjustment can be made to the membership duration.
- Upfront memberships can purchase Rev, Pool and anytime access upgrades; any upgrade will run concurrently with your membership. Direct Debit members can upgrade from an Off Peak to Premium membership on their next DD payment.
- If under 16 years of age, I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Rec Centre's Youth Policy.
- Bad language and poor behaviour is not tolerated in the Centre. Rec Centre staff and fellow members are to be treated with respect. The Rec Centre management reserves the right to cancel memberships at any time.
- Rec Centre facilities are for personal use only and members/casual users cannot provide training to casual users or members withinthe Centre.
PLEASE NOTE:
Parking is available for Rec Centre users in general parking area. Designated parks are available for a maximum duration of two hours; these are located in front of squash courts but you are required to collect a permit from reception. Should your vehicle is immobilised, contact University Security by calling 838 4444 to arrange release of your vehicle (fine will apply).
